libcolumbus1-common software package provides error tolerant matching engine - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcolumbus1-common
libcolumbus1-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcolumbus1-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcolumbus1-common *
You will get with libcolumbus1-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
